My son and I listened to this book read by Kate Winslet. What an absolute treat! I had to explain pronunciation of some of the words and a few of the concepts, but he loved it! He especially loved the chapter about Bruce, while I reveled in the beginning about parents and their thoughts on their kids.

I also saw the Broadway show, which included an extra scene of Matilda creating a story -- quite magical in fact.

Highly recommend!
