Mindful Being towards Mindful Living by Natasa Pantovic Nuit is a simple, powerful, and amazingly practical mindfulness training course.I love self-development books and I try to go to a lot of courses that are about conscious living, meditation and spirituality so this was not a new subject for me and I very much looked forward to this experience. I started my exploration journey last year, during the winter of 2015 and within the course materials I found a great collection of spiritual exercises that now I use daily. walking bare-foot, showering with cold water, preparing little secrets for my friends and family, going back to writing, drawing mandalas, meditating with inspiring guided meditations, exercising concentration, etc. If any of you want to learn more about walking a spiritual path or self-development with a very 'spiritual not religious' approach, this is a great mindfulness training to attend and Nuit is a great Coach. I was surprised by the spectrum of exercises: we covered lots of inspiring tools: a personal plan, goals' setting, life cycle, relationship contracts. These were for me some of the best self-development tools explored within 'do it on-your-own mode'. This has its-own disadvantage 'cause I had to go back to my self-discipline to complete the 12 weeks modules on my-own, yet since I loved the subject and the writing style I continuously returned to the exercises. Lots of wisdom within this course. I would end this review with the quote from Nuit's article: Is Mindfulness for You? An Honest Look into a Mindfulness Journey. 'The self-development journey is a beautiful life-long journey. It takes an effort to be commitment to the beauty of life and a courage to fall in love with practitioners of this amazing wisdom. We call them yogis, sages, poets, and feel inspired by their words. Yet, a word of warning, Mindfulness cannot be learned but only inspired.' Nuit User Review - Flag as inappropriateMindful Being Course is a remarkable work of someone who spent 20 years researching the subject of spiritual development. I am so happy I came across this work from Nuit and that she inspired me to implement some simple and powerful exercises within my life. Defining true goals is always a challenge and returning back to the 'real values' with very practical tools is something that I find very valuable within this Course on Mindful Living. Inspiring and deep work! User Review - Flag as inappropriateI am very happy I came across Mindful Being Alchemy of Love Course. It was my pleasure to go through the various mindfulness exercises, and work with different self-development tools. I purchased Mindful Being Gold that is supported with 11 hours of presentations / videos and that was a very good choice. The work on self-development is the work that needs self-discipline so the video presentations acted as an inspiration. I very much liked the Creativity tools, and Relationships Module. Mindfulness and meditation exercises are also very inspiring. User Review - Flag as inappropriateConsacious parenting is a basis of self development of any human being. How our parents behave form the way we think, act, and that is why it is so important to understand how to properly educate our kids. Conscious parenting book is a must to read, examine, and deeper explore. I am an educator interested in Waldorf methods of education and I found the exercises to be practical, inspiring, motivating, full of day-to-day tips, wisdom and learning activities. Must read! User Review - Flag as inappropriateMindful Being Towards Mindful Living The Mindful Being book is a 12 module self-development course and I am very happy that I came across it. This is a very interesting and spiritual course full of love and with lots of exercises and tools. The course covers the following areas: MODULE 1 Attitude towards Body. A great start of the course, examining the body, nutrition, I built my weekly healthy menu (the recipe book from Nuit was a great add-on), I looked into my healthy or un-healthy habits, my exercise regime and tried to improve it all. I am not a vegetarian, so this module was not that 'natural' for me. I needed a bit more time to adjust my eating patterns and build my 'healthy menu'. I learned a lot about health, diet and mindfulness within eating. MODULE 2, Attitude towards Home. I examined my home, the environment that surrounds me, my desk at work. The exercises around the clutter were quite interesting but not that challenging because I am a very organised person and love to have lots of order within my home :). MODULE 3, Thinking Patterns. In this module we examined the mind and our every-day thoughts. I have a lot of clutter around my day-to-day thoughts :) so looking into my conscious and sub-conscious addictions, identifying my strengths and weaknesses was just a great exercise. A great module with lots of tips and tools that help one prepare for the meditation. MODULE 4, Time / Life Wasters. All of us often waste time watching TV, browsing Internet, or Facebook, so applying conscious efforts to record this time and activities, was an eye opener. Great experiences throughout the time when the mobile was off during the weekend and TV switched-off. I wish to repeat this often and do more of my favorite walks in nature. Module 5, FREE MIND: We examined the feelings. A great soul-full way of asking why do we have anger, or why there are negative thoughts. Not an easy process especially while driving on the Maltese roads when I often ant to kill somebody :). and not a job done in 1 week, but the mindfulness course and Nuit walk us through various exercises of how to ask questions, be aware and be mindful. This is surely a life-long- journey. Module 6, Core Beliefs It is the fact that our enemy hides within our core negative beliefs. It is just great that Nuit within the Mindful Being Course works with the negative beliefs that hide from our consciousness. It is fun discovering them through different tools that explore mindfulness and awareness. Module 7, Relationships. Relationships and love, a man or men in my life, my friends, family, the beauty of working on some very inspiring mindfulness exercises. I tried to find some wonderful experiential ways to solve some important day-to-day problems. Each couple that is into self-development should do this module and explore various exercises together. Module 8, Our Greater Surrounding. I try to be conscious of Earth and I always try to further understand animals, plants, neighbors, strangers. I very much enjoyed working on this module. Module 9, Our Dreams. I so much agree with the motto of this module: 'Turn away from your dream and it will come back to you. Follow your dream and it will give you a tremendous amount of pleasure and learning.' Exploring dreams is something everyone on the spiritual path should be doing at all times. We should never become too busy to dream and explore our dreams. Great exercises and tools to help the explorer work with this area. Module 10, Our True Goals. During this week, we identified some interesting 'True Goals'. Some great insights exploring short / medium / long term actions and ways to achieve them. Nuit says: 'Listen to your Heart and follow your Mind!' A tough but a beautiful task. Module 11, Spirituality and Spiritual Diary, a very well designed and a powerful tool that sums-up the full content of the previous modules. Writing a spiritual diary got me back to mindfulness and awareness. The diary made me stay in touch with the way I treat my body, mind and soul. User Review - Flag as inappropriateI purchased Mindful Being Gold that gave me an opportunity to experience all of Alchemy of Love courses. Inspiring writings from: 1. the spiritual poems that inspired me to take out my brushes, 2. through the mindful eating with recipes that gave me a lovely urge to examine my diet, experiment with raw and vegan, and re-design my menu, to 3. the Mindful Being Course that touched almost all the aspect of my life. I felt I was on a crossroad so this re-design was highly appreciated. I felt as though I am in a garage repairing the bits that need a repair that could have gone un-noticed for many moons.
